The cases of false news increased considerably and with it came the serious consequences. Controversial issues are generally those that bring the greatest repercussion. The focus is on the problem generated by false news disseminated on the internet. How can we assess the veracity of news? Whose fault is it? How is this news transmitted? Are there legal consequences for authors? How does the population react? Therefore, the objective is to report the most absurd facts arising from misinformation, creating an overview of the current news scene and to discuss how it is possible to help in the development process we are currently in. For this, there was an analysis of the circulation and placement and propagation of some news through the unsystematic observation of comments from readers and articles on the subject. First, there is an overview of how the news was and its evolution, as well as real cases and their repercussions will be discussed as well as the legal measures applied. The categories of information and the power of rumor circulation will be identified. The research had a qualitative exploratory design, and a bibliographical survey will be carried out on the main authors who talk about the subject. Texts produced by contemporary authors will be studied. For this research, texts by authors in English, Spanish and Portuguese were used.Ante la proliferación de noticias en internet, por la facilidad de difusión y transmisión. Los casos de noticias falsas han aumentado considerablemente y con ello llegaron las graves consecuencias. Los temas controvertidos suelen ser los de mayor repercusión. Se centra en la problemática que generan las fake news difundidas en internet. ¿Cómo se puede evaluar la veracidad de las noticias? ¿De quién es la culpa? ¿Cómo se transmite esta noticia? ¿Hay consecuencias legales para los autores? ¿Cómo reacciona la población? Por lo tanto, el objetivo es reportar los hechos más absurdos derivados de la información incorrecta, creando una visión general del escenario noticioso actual, y discutir cómo es posible ayudar en el proceso de desarrollo que está actualmente en marcha. Para ello, se realizó un análisis de la circulación y colocación y propagación de algunas noticias a través de la observación asistemática de comentarios de lectores y artículos sobre el tema. En primer lugar, se hace un repaso de cómo fue la noticia y su evolución, así como se tratarán casos reales y sus repercusiones, así como las medidas legales aplicadas. Se identificarán las categorías de información y el poder de circulación de los rumores. La investigación tuvo un diseño cualitativo exploratorio, y se realizará un levantamiento bibliográfico sobre los principales autores que hablan sobre el tema. Se estudiarán textos producidos por autores contemporáneos.
