Thus, this body of work provides a historical overview of the relations between Cinema, History, and Teaching, identifying contexts and changes in the incorporation of movies in the classroom. The fundamental proposal was to reflect on the possibilities of the Indigenous Thematic’s Cinema adoption in the classroom. Furthermore, the analysis deepened on the examination of cinematographic productions that produce representations of the indigenous population of Brazil and movies made by indigenous filmmakers.
