Chaves, Maria Genailze de Oliveira RibeiroSmith Júnior, Francisco Pereira2024-12-132021https://deposita.ibict.br/handle/deposita/723The present work is a comparative analysis of the short stories O fato completo de Lucas Matesso (1997) by José Luandino Vieira and O Leite em Pó da Bondade Humana (1983) by Haroldo Maranhão. When reading the stories, it is clear that both have the theme of torture in common and the tortured body in historical and social events that occurred in the dictatorial period of Brazil and Angola, in which it is marked by state violence. In this sense, the objective of the research is to analyze the theme of torture, considering the situation of the tortured body and its physical and psychological condition, as well as the relationship between the works. In such a case, it is also necessary to understand the military dictatorship in Brazil and Angola, the relationship between the lives of the authors, as well as the resistance literature. The research, to be carried out effectively, makes a qualitative approach, which uses bibliographic studies developed from the Comparative Literature method. Therefore, the work is divided into seven sections as a means of organizing its discussions. It is based on the theoretical contributions of Laban (1980), Arns (1987), Candido (2000), Bosi (2002), Subirats (2006), Carvalhal (2006), Pires (2007), Seligmann-Silva (2008), Bakhtin (2012), Foucault (2014), Sarmento-Pantoja (2014), among others.application/pdfopenAccessTorturaCorpoDitadura MilitarTestemunhoTortureBodyMilitary dictatorshipA testimonyInterdisciplinarA tortura representada nos contos o fato completo de Lucas Matesso, de Luandino Vieira, e o leite em pó da bondade humana, de Haroldo MaranhãoTorture represented in the stories the complete fact by Lucas Matesso, by Luandino Vieira, and milk powder of human kindness, by Haroldo MaranhãoDissertação
