The core objective of retical foundation work has been to understand how capitalist discourse, guided by neoliberal rationality, has reverberated onto the subject and their re-lationship with the other within the social bond. We emphasize that capitalist discourse holds primacy in establishing social bonds. This led us to suggest that one of the implicit reverberations of capitalist discourse, framed by neoliberal rationality, is the foundation of relations between the subject and the other in the social bond through the tautological imperative of mutual enjoyment. Thus, in contemporary times, the norm is that the specular other serves only to allow the subject to enjoy limitlessly. Finally, we highlight that anxiety is the “voice” that calls upon the subject to rise against the deceptions intrinsic to capitalist discou-rse, the contemporary simulacrum.application/pdfopenAccessDiscursoLaço socialNeoliberalismoGozoAngústiaCiências HumanasPsicanáliseEntre a angústia e o gozo: reverberações do discurso capitalista e a racionalidade neoliberal no laço social contemporâneoArtigo
