The classification of the study, according to the technical procedures to be used, is bibliographical and documentary. In terms of analysis, a qualitative approach was used. As for the nature of this research, it is considered applied. In order to achieve the objectives, the universities were searched for on government portals and then the courses were researched and organized in a spreadsheet according to region. The results showed that Brazil has 46 Library Science courses; Argentina has seven Library Science courses; Paraguay and Uruguay have one (1) course. The Northeast: has 10 (ten) universities offering Library Science courses, the Midwest: 3 (three) Library Science courses, the Southeast: 7 (seven) courses, the South: 6 (six) universities offering Library Science courses. One course was recovered in Paraguay and Uruguay. With regard to the content of subjects on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Drones and audiobooks, only the Library Science course at the University of Buenos Aires has a subject with content on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the library.
